A Brief Bio:

How true the previous quote is.  In 2008, I decided it was time to start working on my dream of teaching and performing music full-time.  Fast forward to this moment: I can proudly say that I'm a full-time guitar instructor, solo performer and music therapist.  

For nearly 40 years, I've been a staple of the Twin Tiers music scene.  As an educator, I've been the owner of the former Dragonfly Guitar Studio/Guitar Lessons with Jim Ronan for 20 years.  Recently, I started teaching music for the SPARK Arts Program sponsored by Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center (BCPAC).

Currently, I perform as a solo act (Jim Ronan: Solo Acoustic).  My catalog has roughly 700 songs ranging from rock, pop, blues, jazz, country and swing.  I refer to my style of music as “Garnish Rock” (AKA- I'm not the show… I'm just part of what's going on around me).
